Doing varied roles in every one of his films,
Surya's ratings are going higher and higher. His latest film '
Aadhavan' directed by
KS Ravikumar is due for a Deepavali release and fans are eagerly awaiting it.
To give a peek into 'Aadhavan,' were hero Surya, director KS Ravikumar, producer Udayanidhi Stalin at Chennai. Heroine Nayantara was absent. "The girl is upset because personal matters are being written about her. That's why she is not present today," explained KSR, further adding advice, "You have the right to review that a film is nice or not nice, but you can't say that people should not see a particular film."
KSR also had some advice for Surya. "Among the young generation of actors who are dedicated and love acting, Surya is Number One. He asks beforehand about the scenes for the next day, does his homework and does a brilliant job at the shooting spot. He has great ambitions to do varied roles and make a name for himself as a brilliant actor. He takes many risks for that and that's something he should reduce a bit. You only live once and there are producers, fans and family who are depending on you.
"I'm acting as a 10 year old boy in this film, where it is a 20 minute flashback. The graphics work alone cost 4.5 lakhs. The scene was created because of the director's creativity. I express my gratitude for that. I can never forget the experience of acting with Mrs. Saroja Devi. I learnt such a lot from her," said Surya.
