Pudhukottaiyilirundhu Saravanan

Saravanan(Dhanush) gets a job in Singapore to save up to 3 Lakh. Unfortunately, he accidently kills a work-mate and has to go on the run. At the same time a guy for whom he cleans cars loses his fortune and in a desparate attempt to gain some money bets his niece, Shalini (Aparna) at the casino. After losing the bet he escapes at gunpoint and makes a request of Saravanan; that he takes Shalini back to India, and that he will see that he gets the 3 Lakh as payment. The rest of the story chronicles their journey and, of course, their eventual growing love for each other, after the usual initial dislike.
