7G Rainbow Colony

Based on a real life incident the movie is a passionate love affair set in the backdrop of a housing colony in Chennai. Kadhir (Ravi Krishna), the central character of the film is from lower middle class, and a frustrated youth. He hates his father (Vijayan) who he thinks is a tyrant and considers him as a enemy. He has hatred towards his studies and fails in all subjects. He likes to loaf around with his friends and has all vices like smoking, drinking and disturbing neighbours occupying the terrace of the colony. Now enters Anitha with her parents and occupies the flat with the door number 7G. They are Punjabis and shifts to Chennai. Anitha is a second year student of computer science and studious. Kadhir falls for Anitha and is literally obsessed with her. But Anitha hates the very sight of him and looks down upon him as a creature. She hates his looks, low class behaviour etc. But Kadhir does not give up and follows her and pleads her to accept his love. He goes to the extent of tolerating all the tantrums of Anitha and even gets slapped by her slippers once. He is so passionate that he wants to spend the entire life with her. At a certain point Anitha feels sorry for Kadhir and realizes that he is not a bad guy as she thought and she decides to lend a hand to him. She helps him first come out of his inferiority complex and she finds out the hidden talent from him and gets also a decent job for him. He shows him the way to come up in life. The film ends with an unexpected climax.
