One of the top directors of Indian Cinema K.S.Ravikumar was born on 30th May in Chennai. He did his graduation from Guru Nanak College and Jain College, Chennai. He is a shuttlecock player. He entered filmdom in 1990. His Directorial debut Tamil film Puriyadha Pudhir was a big hit. It was a serious thriller, but was well critically acclaimed. He gave consecutive success films with actor Sarathkumar in Cheran Pandiyan, Nattamai, and Natpukkaga. With his continuous success he became a leading director of Kollywood Industry. His movies are a mixture of genres ranging from comedy to action thriller. He has worked with almost all top stars of South Indian film Industry. His blockbuster with superstar Rajinikanth in Muthu and Padayappa gave recognition as a top director. He has tasted 4 blockbusters Avvai Shanmughi, Thenali, Panchathanthiram, and Dasavatharam with actor Kamal Haasan. With the film career of 18 years, he has the best success ratio in the Industry. More than 35 films to his credit he Acts, Directs and Writes screen play for his films. He has directed top stars of Tollywood - Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna in Telugu films Sneham and Kosam.
