Arshad Warsi was born on April 19th 1968. He was orphaned at the age of 14 and struggled for a living in Mumbai during his early days. However his interest for dance and art sustained him to join a dance school. The turning point in his life came, when he had won the fourth prize for the World English Jazz Dancing Competition at the age of 21. He opened a dance school with his prize money and also joined the English Theatre group in Mumbai. He is married to actress Maria Goretti on February 14th 1999. They have a son named Zeke Warsi. He made his acting debut with the film Tere Mere Sapne alongside Chandrachur Singh in 1996 which failed at the box-office. He then worked on a handful of films over the years without any major success. Then came Munnabhai M. B. B. S., which proved to be a mile stone in his career and made him famous as circuit. His acting skill was noticed with the film Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. along with Sanjay Dutt. Both made the audience shatter with their excellent comic skills. He proved his worth in the critically acclaimed Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part 2, where his acting was greatly acclaimed. After that he worked in a string of successful films, such as, Hulchul, Salaam Namaste, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya and Golmaal. He reprised his role of Circuit in Lage Raho Munna Bhai which became a big smash hit. He has done a number of projects on the small screen. He hosted a popular award show Sabsey Favourite Kaun on Star Gold for three years. He has hosted Filmy Stock Exchange on Sahara one\'s Filmy channel. He did a guest appearance in Star One\'s popular teen show Remix, where he appeared as himself to promote his movie Kuch Meetha Ho Jaaye.
